My journey in writing is lifelong and has spanned from enthusiastic hobbyist to accomplished professional. I've been a member of the Writing.com community for thirteen years, and it has provided me with the resources, the support, and the platform to grow into a skilled writer.

My freelance work ranges from lifestyle and wellness posts to ghostwriting novels to business and SaaS copy.

My education has been an invaluable tool in evolving my skill over the years, beginning with writing essays, research projects, and dissertations during my undergraduate years in psychology.

My years earning my MBA involved all the aforementioned, with the added challenge of creating audience-friendly work designed to make sometimes dry materials entertaining and engaging to a diverse audience.

Of course, like many parents, my experience working for my family has been an invaluable tool in evolving my skills for patience, organization, multitasking, and negotiation, and diplomacy. Oh, and becoming a formidable opponent at Tekken 7. So there's that.

I live in the fantastic city of Nashville, TN with my very, very patient husband, my three well above average boys, a dog the size of a dinosaur, and a very prissy cat. When I'm not writing for work, I'm writing for fun. When I'm not doing that I enjoy reading, fine dining, copious amounts of wine, and philosophical conversations with my children. And adults on occasion.
