If you've found your way here, you're probably looking for a seasoned writer to craft engaging, creative, and useful stuff for you or your organization. You may also be thinly stretched and need someone to take content creation off your plate without a lot of hand-holding.
I can do that.
I specialize in empathetic, research-driven, brand-focused mental health, wellness, and travel articles, guides, newsletters, and ghostwritten pieces. My favorite thing? Using my storytelling skills to create memorable work that informs, entertains, and connects with readers.

My journey in writing is lifelong, spanning from enthusiastic hobbyist to accomplished professional. 20(ish) years in the Writing.com community have provided me with the resources, the support, and the platform to grow into a skilled writer. I'm proud to say the work I have submitted there has won numerous site-sponsored contests and consistently received positive peer reviews and feedback.
During my career, I've worked on a range of topics from lifestyle and wellness posts to ghostwriting novels and SaaS copy. However, after nearly two decades, I've realized that mental health and travel are my favorite subjects.
My education has been an invaluable tool in evolving my writing skills over the years, beginning with writing essays, research projects, and dissertations during my undergraduate years in psychology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. My years earning my MBA involved all the aforementioned, with the added challenge of creating audience-friendly work that makes sometimes dry materials entertaining and engaging for a diverse audience.
Of course, like many parents, my experience working for my family is probably the most invaluable tool I've acquired for cultivating patience, organization, multitasking, negotiation, and diplomacy. Oh, and becoming a formidable opponent at Tekken 7. So there's that.
I live in the fantastic city of Nashville, TN, with my patient husband, three well-above-average boys, and three cats who are way smarter than all of us combined. When I'm not writing for work, I'm writing for fun. When I'm not doing that, I enjoy reading, fine dining, a generous glass of wine, and philosophical conversations with my children. And adults on occasion.
